Potty training puppies is one of the most important jobs dog owners have. It’s an essential skill your dog should learn very early in life, especially if you want your own life as its owner to be a lot less stressful.
Of course, the first thing you should realize before training is that your puppy is a baby. It doesn’t have full control over its own bowel movements, and it will need time and practice before it learns when and where to do its business.

When planning to train your dog to be as agile as those dogs you have seen on dog competitions, you need to follow certain guidelines in order to produce optimal results. You can buy quality dog training books or ask professional dog agility trainers for instructions. You can also hire professional trainers but the cost might make you think twice. Even if you can afford a professional dog trainer it is more recommendable if you can train your dog by yourself, after all you are your dog’s master. Not to mention agility training is a perfect bonding moment for you and your dog to establish trust and confidence towards you as your dog’s master.

A dog that has mastered the “stay” is always a well mannered and safe dog. This command can come in handy in many situations, and isn’t as hard as you might think to teach your dog. Before you attempt to begin this training, ensure that your dog already responds to his name and also knows the ” sit command ” or ” down command “, this is very important and those are the foundations for any kind of obedience training. Some may consider sit and stay to be almost the same or unnecessary, because they assume by administering the sit command should be enough to have your dog stay. This isn’t so because with most commands you will be around until you allow your dog to go free. Once left alone its the dogs natural instinct to follow their leader.
Have your dog assume the “sit” or “down” position, showing or even letting him smell his/her favorite treat

MAKE THE PUPS KNOW WHO’S IN CHARGE
They are man’s best friend, as they saycute and cuddly, intelligent and witty, lean and furry.
HUNTING THE RIGHT HOUND
The Akita (Japan), the Komondor (Hungary), the Portuguese water dog, the Newfoundland, the Saint Bernard (Switzerland), the Alaskan Malamute, the Bernese Mountain dog (Switzerland) and many more make this group a veritable United Nations of dogs. Even the famous racer, the greyhound, has proved to be a well-liked family pet. Golden Retrievers are among the most popular breeds in America. The instinct to herd in some of them can be strong in these breeds even if most of these are now plain companion dogs that have never even seen a sheep.
They are familiar faces from numerous media spots, including the movie Air Bud and the TV Show Full House. Motivated by rising inner-city crime rates and by the rather twisted notion that owning a powerful dog somehow enhances one’s social standing, all too many people have invested a lot of money in acquiring one of these dogs, but sometimes nothing can convince some of these dogs that not all strangers, especially children, pose a threat. The poodle’s opposite may be the bulldog. In true mixed breeds, the dog’s ancestry is next to impossible to predict, although many people can’t help but try to guess. Let loose in your backyard, a terrier can build an entire golf course in a day at least, 18 holes. Sometimes produced randomly, but most often planned by breeders, crossbreeds result from the mating or crossing of two dogs with a different but identifiable lineage. It now serves only as a loving, albeit somewhat deskbound companion.

Let’s be clear from the start. A potty is not used when puppy potty training. What we are talking about is house training your puppy so that it eliminates outdoors or in a designated indoor area rather than anywhere in the home.
1. Don’t look on puppy potty training as the unpleasant or messy side of owning a puppy. Rather see it as the first stage of a bonding process. One that will result in a happy and healthy relationship. That is the real reward of house training a dog.
