i go on youtube and i see all these bichons doing tricks and i want my bichon to do tricks like i shot my dog and the dog plays dead or rollover or just something. my bichon is 3 months old and its a boy thanks 4 ur help and it would help alot if u got me some videos

One time I tried the calming technique used by Cesar Milan on his dogs during the show The Dog Whisperer on my dog., It looked harmless enough and not cruel in any way. I put my hand on my dog’s shoulder the way Cesar does, kind of like how dogs do when communicating with each other in a pack. I made sure I was gentle, I thought it couldn’t hurt to try because it wasn’t harmful to the dog in any way.
My dog turned around and growled at me though, then he tried to bite my hand! Has anyone else tried this?

You are trying to tell your dog to come here. It ignores you. You try again getting a bit more frustrated. No matter how much you shout at your dog it does not seem to react. There are simple dog training tricks that can make this work so that your dog will come to you immediately, every time.

First, it is important to understand that you dog is ignoring your commands because it doesn’t understand you. You may have tried to teach your dog this command already, and it may now be that what it is thinking you want is different from what you actually want.

I want to use my dog in a show where he has to perform a magic trick.

He already is an “acting dog” so he is easy and willing to be trained.

I dont know any magic tricks though – does anyone have any suggestions?

I guess training a dog to be house-trained is alright (I’m not cleaning that up), but when do you draw the line with training dogs tricks?

I have a pretty smart dog. He’s just a mutt, but he’s definitly smart and has a good personality. Are there any tricks I can teach him, or any websites that have instructions on how to teach a dog new tricks? Nothing fancy, I’m not going to enter him in any contests or anything. Just looking for something fun for us to do.

I would like to teach my dog some cool trick such as dance, roll over, sit, stand, lay down, play dead, and all the other cool tricks dogs can do. I also would like to train my dog to walk with me without a leash, and so on. Does anyone know a really good web-site that provides good training methods? Thanks!
