emergency dog potty training!
ok so this is a long story. my family and i adopted my dog keera almost 2 years ago. we were told that she would do best with another dog to help with her house training. fortunately we already had another dog. things seemed to be going well. keera would have an accident every once in a blue moon. then, unfortunately we had to get rid of our other dog. now keera has accidents all the time in the dining room where she use to have accidents. its too the point where keera wont even leave the deck to go in the grass unless its an emeergency. it got to the point where she pooped right in front of my mom in her bathroom! since i am the one that mainly takes care of keera. my parents are saying that this is the last draw and i need to do something about her problem. also, my mom wants another dog because keera barely barks anymore or anything anymore. anyways, i need help or i will loose my dog. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

RUN, do not walk to the closest library or bookstore. Invest in “How to Housebreak Your Dog in 7 Days.” FOLLOW the schedule as if your dog’s life depends upon it.
You will need a crate / kennel or ex-pen for training. And CLEAN up the areas she’s been using with a good enzyme cleaner like Nature’s Miracle. Follow the directions on the bottle carefully.
It sounds like Keera is upset and acting out because her friend had to leave. Maybe getting another dog is not such a bad idea. As for getting her to leave the deck. Have you tried putting her on a leash and walking her? She may enjoy that and willingly leave the deck and do her business outside. Good luck! I hope this helps.
your dog just has to be train train her just like you trained the first dog she probably started going to the bathroom inside because you got rid of the other dog when dogs are upset they cant just come to you and tell you so they tell you the only way they know how to get your attention. getting a new friend for your dog may help. but why get rid of a dog just to buy a new one. dog aren’t something you can just trade in.
You need to start from the beginning. Put the dog in a confined area and take her out every few hrs. Give her treats and rewards when she goes outside. Always use the same spot so she learns that that is where she should go.
