I am having trouble potty training my dog. Can anyone help?

I just got a 5 month old yellow lab. She is great except I don’t feel I am making progress potty training her. She doesn’t bark so I do not know how to get it to let me know it has to go to the bathroom. Can anyone give me tips?

My dog goes and sits/lays at the door when he has to go potty, and it took my dog until he was about 6-7 months until he was potty trained.
take your dog out after every meal and after every nap, or lull in her day. Sometimes as much as every two hours… even in the rain. She will catch on eventually.
Most important is to remain patient. I had to keep taking my puppy out, then i made sure she received praise or a treat when she would potty outside, it took about 2 weeks. good luck!
