I have a 9 year old corgi/shepherd mix. For years he’s had problems where he just attacks out of nowhere. If I am laying on the couch, he’ll go right under me and if I get up he will just attack. This is just sometimes..
I’ve had a trainer come to the house, she was here for about 20 minutes, hand feeding him and giving him little pieces of food to train him. Then outta no where, when she stepped backwards with the food, the dog attacked her feet.

He bites me and my family members a lot, and he even bites my face sometimes. I’ve tried many ways of getting him to stop this, but they never work. He was trained late, and he’s a spoiled brat because his previous owner gave him everything he wanted. Also, how do i persuade my dad to let us have another dog? I’m desprate.

I have a little mixed dog and I’m afraid to walk him because there are little kids in the neighborhood, like 3 years old, and start to pet the dog. This happened once, and my dog didn’t bite anyone. He is suspcious of people and I don’t want him to be anymore. I need to train if I want to take him anywhere. I thought of this technique but I doubt it would work. Everytime he would bark or growl at someone I would say “No” and if he continued to I would squirt him with water from a water bottle. Eh?

Me and my wife just got a cute cocker named Huey and he is always biting at our fingers and tearing up the carpet, eating cardboard, chewing the wood on windowseals, even eating and tearing up the puppy pads….will the training classes at PetSmart stop him from doing that or will they just teach him treats and such?

I have a Boston terrier who is…let’s just say spunky and I am trying to train him.
My cousin told me to bite his ear if he disobeys and/or hold him down to asert my dominance over him. This seems extreme and inapropriate to me so I could use some advice

My cocker spaniel is now close to five years old. She’s a great dog and completely trained except for one thing. Whenever she gets hold of something, be it a sock, or food she isn’t supposed to have she won’t give it back. And if you try and take something from her she will sometimes get quite nasty, and bite often drawing blood. I love my dog but I can’t continually have to be scared of her approaching her when trying to take something from her, what can I do to solve this problem?

My Papillon puppy Stella (Born on December 1st 2008) bites like CRAZY!!! At first, I just though she was teething… now, she’s still biting and I don’t think she’s teething anymore. Any tips on how to get her to stop??? (The biting gets on my nerves… she’s made everyone I know bleed more than once. She’s tiny, but she’s dangerous!!!)

Dogs are the greatest pets one could have. They are cute, cuddly, warm and affectionate
and known to be man’s best friend. You may want to get a pup and enjoy watching it grow to be a full-grown beauty. You need to train a pup right from the time it begins to waddle around the house. If you can do this successfully, you will have a lovable pet and great watchdog to protect you, care for you and be your constant companion.
Training is not easy. One tends to spoil anything that is small and looks helpless. Your
