Your neighbors have just gotten themselves a pet dog. It is cute and adorable but it is also barking excessively throughout the day and into the night. How can you stop your neighbors’ dogs from barking? Here’s a foolproof method – use an anti-barking device.

It is natural for dogs to bark and they bark for various reasons such as to seek attention, warn of danger, unhappy, lonely, scared or even to bark off excess energy. Depending on the situation, different methods can be applied to tackle the cause. However, if a dog barks excessively, then the most effective solution is to use an anti-barking device that emit ultrasound to train the dogs to stop barking. As these frequencies can only be heard by dogs and not humans, its use can remain discreet with your neighbors!

Many animals such as dogs, cats, dolphins, bats and mice have an upper hearing frequency limit that is greater than that of the human ear and thus these animals can hear ultrasound. When the anti-barking device detects barking, it immediately sends out a high-pitched sound to irritate the dog and discourage it from barking. Such frequencies are only meant to irritate the dog and would not hinder the dog’s barking out of instinct such as at an intruder or harm the dog’s hearing. There are many types of anti-barking devices and out of these, devices that emit ultrasonic frequencies are considered the most humane and effective. Another beauty of this technology is that it can handle multiple dogs at the same time! After a while, the dogs will associate their barking with the irritating frequencies and learn to bark less.

These devices are very popular among dog trainers as well as home owners who need to train their neighbors’ dogs. Small in size, such devices can be cleverly disguised in a bird house or hanging plant – virtually anywhere without you having to ask permission from your neighbors! There are two types for you to choose from: automated ones or manual ones. The automated design offers much more convenience as once the device is switched “on”, detection of barking and emission of ultrasound is automated. It saves you the hassle of stopping your work to look for the remote control.

While you are not able to control how your neighbors train their dogs, you can still choose a bark free life. Now that you know how to stop your neighbors’ dogs from barking, you can enjoy peaceful sleep and the beautiful harmony of birds chirping in the morning.

The dog agility starter kit is great for fun with your dog and the whole family. Agility course equipment can be expensive and difficult to carry around and transport. This starter kit is inexpensive, easy to transport and is an excellent basic design for agility courses. The equipment features everything you would need to introduce your dog to an agility course. Whether you are on your first step to competition, or just enjoy weekends with the family in the backyard or at the park, the dog agility starter kit is a great product. Agility tunnels are great for training dogs to enter dog show competitions and for the enjoyment that your dog gets from running in these tunnels. Tunnel bags contain the most popular agility tools that you would need.Tunnels are available in different lengths, depending on how you plan on using the tunnel with your dog. For dog trials in dog show competitions, you should use a Agility tunnel that is between ten and twenty feet long. If you are training your dog for a competition trial, you should get a tunnel that is twenty feet long because you can shorten a tunnel but you cannot shorten a agility tunnel. If you just want a dog agility tunnel for at home fun, get a tunnel that is at least ten feet long. A puppy only needs about a five foot long agility tunnel for training and fun. If you plan on training your dog to run the dog agility tunnel for competition, it is recommended that you only allow your dog to use the tunnel for training. Some dog agility tunnels are lightweight for their size and are easily moved into different locations. The dog agility tunnels are available in different colors and professional trainers prefer to use a color of tunnel that a dog does not like. Small dogs can use the lightweight dog agility tunnels.Unless a agility tunnel specifies that it can used by a very large dog, it is recommended that you keep the large and heavy breeds, such as a St. There are dog agility tunnels made of sturdier material that can handle the traffic of the larger dog breeds. Dog tunnels can be used to train your dog for dog shows and by using a agility tunnel, you can be sure that your dog will be in top physical shape. Your dog will enjoy using agility tunnel and you can be glad that your dog will be ready for the agility trials. Agility tunnels are one of the most important equipment to use nowadays. There is some important information to know about dog tunnel. You should use tunnels that are among ten and twenty feet long for dog trials in dog show competitions. For training and enjoyment, a puppy only requires about a five foot long dog agility tunnel. It is advisable for you to use the tunnel for training if you plan on training your dog to run the tunnel for contest. Several tunnels are very lightweight and could be moved to the other places. Yet, there are also tunnels that can handle the traffic of the larger dog breeds which is made of stronger material. To sum up, dog agility tunnels have some advantages for your dog. Like in agility contests, courses are designed by judges and are different in every trial. I am confident that you and your dog will have a lot of fun practicing with this agility equipment. One surefire way of boosting your dog’s confidence is to work on its agility. Dog tunnels are perfect for this specific purpose. You can teach him or her these tricks and more with the proper dog agility equipment. Consider purchasing agility products that will help you reach these goals. This will make it very easy to have the agility tools that you need to practice with your dog.Jeffrey L.
Clicker training is a new way to train dogs. Trainers of show dogs teach their dogs’ tricks with clicker training, but anyone can use it for everyday skills that make dogs happy and cooperative members of the family. Clicker training works on the assumption that dogs want to learn to do what their humans want.

Dogs like to learn new things. They enjoy interacting with people. It’s hard for them to succeed because we have trouble communicating what we want from them. By giving a click at just the right time, the trainer tells the dog, “What you did, right NOW, is exactly right,” and then gives a reward. The dog says, “Hey that was fun! What did I do?” and tries to get the human to repeat the click and reward behavior. So we end up training each other.

Clicker training works with a ratio of almost all reward and no punishment (when there is negative reinforcement, it has to come immediately at the dog’s undesirable action and the response doesn’t cause the dog physical pain). A dog who has had clicker training is happy and confident. Here are five tips for clicker training your dog.

1. Do get the kids — and whole family — involved in the training. Physical strength isn’t a requirement, because you don’t use a leash. All you need are clicker, treats, and time. You’ll want to supervise little ones, especially with big dogs, but the clicker training quickly have the whole family using the same words and rewards — making it much easier for the dog to learn.

2. At the beginning, click any behavior that even starts to look like what you want. The dog learns to do the behavior and then learns the word for it. If you’re teaching “sit,” click and reward every time the puppy’s rump gets close to the floor. As the dog gets better at the behavior, you’ll click and reward actions closer to what you want.

3. Spend as much time as possible playing clicker with your dog. Pick one behavior for the day’s practice and focus on that. It’s easy to forget that dogs don’t have a concept of language. The word “sit” means nothing to them until we teach them to associate it with “rump on floor.”

4. Once the dog understands that “butt on floor” means click and treat and associates that behavior with the sound “sit,” then you can refine the behavior. You can use the clicker to say that a good sit gets a reward and a sloppy sit gets a “try again” (not punishment, just no reward). It’s a natural progression and ends with no need for the clicker at all, unless you’re trying to teach something new.

5. Make the clicker training a time for fun for you and the dog. Dogs love to spend time with you and will look at clicker training as an enjoyable game. If you’ve got a cheery voice and a pleasant manner with them, they will return your joy multifold and try to do anything that you want them to.

With clicker training, you raise your dog to expect good things from you and from other people, too. A happy, confident dog will love you and love to learn from you.

Potty training your dog doesn’t have to be hard, even though it’s one of the most dreaded tasks of dog lovers, it can be done

Not only will it make the house smell, it could also damage the carpet or other things of value in the house.

Potty training is not as difficult as it seem. Even though it’s a lengthy procedure, at the end, it’s worth it.

For most dogs, it’s easier to potty train them as puppies. However, adult dogs can still be potty trained, but it will take extra effort and patience.

To start potty training them, the simplest method is the newspaper method.

This method has been proven to be very successful and one of the most effective. To those thinking, “I’ve tried or thought about that type of potty training,” did you stick with it long enough to give it a chance to work?

If not, follow along and give it another try, it really works!

To start potty training your dog, find a suitable place in the house, maybe by the back door. Place a lot of newspaper there and every hour or so, place the dog on the newspaper and tell him to do the toilet, or whatever command you want it to be.

Sooner or later, (yes maybe later than you like), the dog will begin to do their business. Repeat the process every hour, especially after the dog has slept and ate. After each successful potty training, praise your dog with a treat or something similar.

Also, make sure to keep a close eye on the dog when they’re roaming the house during potty training. You may be in for a little treat yourself otherwise.

In a few days or so, the dog will remember where to go to do their business. This is when you can start to move the newspaper outside, or atleast closer to the way out. When the dog comes again to where the newspaper used to be, move the dog outside to where the newspaper is.

After a couple times or so, the dog will know he has to go outside to do his business.

Potty training your dog is not something that can be done overnight. Look how long it takes a child to learn.

Some dogs will take longer than others so you must be patience, just like you would with your child.

Yelling at your dog for taking care of business in the wrong place solves nothing, in fact it can make potty training your dog harder. This will only make them scared, which will make potty training your dog longer.

With a lot of hard work and determination, you can teach your dog anything, especially potty training.

Potty training your dog is just a step toward another accomplishment in your dog’s life. Start to train them when they’re young and make sure they receive lots of treats and praise.

It’s amazing how far a loving relationship with your dog can go. Remember, they’re apart of your family to.

Toilet training your dog is one of the first undertakings you should focus on. It may not be that easy to house train a dog, but, it is a goal you can achieve more quickly once you follow some advice on potty training for dogs shared in this write-up.

The earlier you train a puppy, specifically on potty-training, the better. Toilet training your dog is something you should do as soon as it arrives in your home from the pet shop, from a breeder friend’s house, etc. If you’re clueless about how to house train a dog, you should not worry as below you’ll learn pointers on potty training for dogs or dog training tips that will eventually make your furry friend house broken:

1. Treat your pet like a little child.

An initial tip for dog owners is for them to treat their dogs like children. This means that you should watch over your doggie like a baby sitter or a mother who watches over a kid. You should not let your beloved pet be out of your sight when you’re toilet training your dog. If you notice it sniffing around, walking from one spot to another as if in search of something, those are signs that you should start to house train a dog, specifically bring it immediately to the yard or to any place you’d like your pet to potty.

During times when you can’t watch over the dog, an advice on potty training for dogs that you should apply is to place him or her inside a crate. Part of dog training tips, of course, is for you to have a crate for your doggie that’s not too big that it can poop or pee in it while still being able to go to the other side of the crate without being bothered by the smell of urine or feces, nor should the crate be too small that your pet won’t be able to stand up or at least turn around in it.

2. Make a schedule and follow that no matter what.

When toilet training your dog, it is also highly recommended that you have a routine or schedule for your furry friend. For instance, you should give your puppy food at the same times each day and then after he or she is done eating, wait 10 – 15 minutes and then take your doggie outside or right to the spot where you want him or her to ‘do the deed’. By sticking to a schedule, you’ll be able to house train a dog faster or become more successful with potty training for dogs.

3. Reward or praise your pet every time it pees or defecates in its ‘potty area’.

Another tip if you’re in the process of toilet training your dog is to make sure to reward it with a treat or compliment or praise it every time your puppy urinates or answers the call of nature at the right place. By giving him or her praise or rewards, your beloved pet will learn that what he or she did was correct and that you were pleased. Most dogs like making their owners happy or pleased, thus, if you use praises or rewards for every good thing your doggie did, you’ll find it easier to house train a dog.

Potty training for dogs requires patience, hard work, and love for your doggie, for it to become successful.

Having an aggressive dog as a pet is no fun at all. For one, the sweet, nice, obedient, well-trained pet that one looks to find in their pet dog, is shot to hell and it also makes it clear in the course of the training that a dog that has a lot of aggression in him makes for a very difficult target to train. Not only can you not train the dog effectively well but your entire set routine to train him or the decided goals of what you expected your pet to do are not fulfilled either.

In such a scenario, many of us will think of quitting and not going through the aggressive pet training at all. But that does not have to be the natural course of things. There are ways in which aggressive dogs training can be carried out and that is by using certain aggressive dog training tips. So, if you have an aggressive dog, training him will not be an easy task. Follow these pointers on aggressive dog training and you’ll have your answers in no time.

Aggressive Dog Behavior

Before getting into aggressive dog training, it is important to know what causes aggression in dogs. This will help you understand your pet better and lead to better dog care. Some of the reasons that lead to aggression in dogs are:

Sometimes, the pet owner’s behavior to the pet dog will lead to aggression. These behaviors include, constant chaining, excessively punished or poorly fed dogs.
Aggression can also come about as a reaction to other dogs and pets. This is because the dog wants to prove it’s territorial rights and be recognized as the alpha male.
Being in an unfamiliar situation, surrounded by unknown people might lead to aggression in a dog.
Dog health could be one of the other reasons for why you would require training aggressive dogs. Suffering from a disease or being affected by an ailment might cause the dog to exhibit aggression as a result of the pain that he is experiencing.

Aggressive Dog Behavior Training

These were some of the reasons that could lead to aggression in a dog. Once you realize that your pet dog has aggression, you will need some methods of aggressive dog behavior training. Here are some of them:

Prevent Aggression
It is possible to prevent the onset of aggression in your dog from early on. When the dog is new to your family, make sure that you introduce him to a lot of people and take him into different environments. This will train the dog to not show aggressive behavior traits when he meets new people or is taken into unfamiliar territories. So also touch him in a cuddling manner as often as you can. This will help the dog to become habituated to being handled.

Recognize Aggression
A dog will exhibit aggression by exhibiting signs like barking, growling, barring his teeth. More subtle signs include – standing rooted to one spot, pinning its ears to the head, stiff body, a hard, long stare. These signs of aggression are given as a signal to tell others to ‘back off’. Learn to recognize these signs in the dog.

Never Punish
When a dog shows these signs of aggression, never ever punish him/her. That will only stop the dog from giving any signs and rather leading to a direct attack. Punishing a dog is not the correct way of dealing with aggressive dog training.

Stop the Biting
Training a dog when he is a puppy is the best method of aggressive dog training. At this stage, when a puppy starts to administer dog bites on your hands or nips at your toes playfully, it can lead to the bites developing into something more aggressive. When this happens, use this method for employing effective dog obedience – After he bites you, be firm and say ‘NO’ loudly. Usually a pup will get the message. But if the biting still does not stop, then put him in a room and lock it for 30 seconds. This will make him realize that this behavior is not acceptable. So also, making the dog understand that you are the alpha leader and not him, is very very important.
Conditioning Behavior
A very popular method that is used in psychology is called the conditioning method. In this, you condition the mind to think in a particular direction. In aggressive dog training, it works this way – If you find that the aggressive behavior of the dog is caused due to territorial aggression and the other presence of dogs, use the same aggression to change his thinking. Associate that aggression towards other dogs to a positive thing. For example, whenever you find that there is dog barking, or dog fights or the dog lunges at other dogs, simply give him a treat. With every incident that this happens and you give him dog food in the form of a treat, he will start associating the presence of other dogs to being treated and the time will come when he will no longer bark at other dogs but simply expect a treat when other dogs come onto the scene, thus changing his dog behavior for the better.
Reinforcing Good Behavior
Whenever your dog follows an order or behaves according to the way in which he is trained, reward him. This will help to reinforce the good behavior and ensure continued good behavior.

Dog Training Class
It is always a good idea to sign up a new puppy for a behavior training class. This is because , the trainers are professionals who can teach your dog the proper and right manner of behavior. The practice and bringing the behavior into practice can be done by you at home.

These were some of the aggressive dog training tips that you can use for effective training. Be assured that if you train your dog well, the returns of having a well trained, obedient and well behaved pet are incomparable. And will lend you many moments of happiness and stress busting activities.

One of the most common problems associated with dog ownership is that of excessive biting. Unfortunately, few people really know how to stop dogs from biting. As a result, dog biting problems are usually either handled inappropriately or simply ignored. The problem with this is that this problem can become more serious as the dog ages, and it may even lead to the need for euthanasia. Addressing the problem early and understanding the root cause of the problem may be the best ways to avoid such extreme measures.

In their normal pack interactions, dogs use biting as a way to show their dominance over the other pack members. A dog who bites another dog is therefore seeking the submission of that dog – an acknowledgement of his superiority. When you bring a dog home, it is natural for him to view you as a member of his pack, even though you are from a different species. For this reason, you can expect your dog to start nipping early on as he tries to establish his position in his new pack – your household.

This early nipping may seem cute and playful, but it should be discouraged. If you allow the behaviour to continue, your dog might come to think of himself as the dominant member of the pack and his biting may become more serious as he grows older. What you need to do instead is teach your dog that YOU are the leader of the pack and he should submit to you, not the other way around.

Fortunately, there are several easy ways for you to learn how to stop dogs from biting, and it’s not really as tricky as you may think. To establish yourself as pack leader, a good technique is to let your dog wait until you have finished eating before he gets his food. To let him know that biting is not an accepted behaviour, give a little yelp when he nips at you even if it doesn’t hurt and then say a firm NO while looking directly in his eyes. Grabbing the scruff of his neck and giving him a little shake is also a good idea.

Sure, learning how to stop dogs from biting takes time and patience, but the end result is surely worth the effort. Just imagine that at the end of it all, you and your dog will have a stronger bond and a more meaningful relationship. If you feel that you can’t possibly handle this part of dog training by yourself, then by all means seek the help of a professional dog trainer.

A dog trainer can either handle the training himself, or point you in the right direction and supervise you while you train your dog not to bite. Once you are able to accomplish this, you are sure to end up with an impressively well-behaved dog. And what’s best is that when you learn how to stop dogs from biting, you will never again feel the need to abandon, give away, or euthanize any dog that comes your way. The good news, is that in 94% of cases, Home Dog Training by following the step by step instructions fo a professional home training guide have effectively changed or substantially reduced aggressive dogs tendencies to bite.

This post can help you with dogs potty training. You can potty train dogs of any age, not just puppies. You might need to give special treatment to older dogs that have been outside dogs or were never housetrained.

In case your dog does have an accident in the house, you will have to get rid of the urine and eliminate the odor or the dog will continue to go back to that place. To wash the spot, try products with active enzymes in them rather then products that just mask the odor for a few days.

Stick to a regular feeding and drinking schedule for the dog. Leaving food and water out all day long if the dog is not house-trained, is a bad idea. Until the dog is potty trained, they should be on a timed feeding routine.

Younger dogs that do not have large enough bladder can have problems in the crate. A two-months-old dog normally can hold for roughly two hours, a three-months-old for three hours and so forth.

When you are going to leave your puppy in a crate for long time, use a potty pad. They will have an accident. It can be different of course with every dog and the breed.

If you leave your dog alone for long time, even a well-trained dog may have an accident. Accident can occur if your dog is on a regular schedule and you miss the potty time. You may need to utilize a potty pad for your dog should you will be gone for some time.

Leave the tv on and make available toys for your dog at the time you are gone therefore the dog thinks that someone is home. Most people laugh when you tell them the dog needs to have a TV on, although the reality is that a dog will feel more comfortable. I suggest you also keep a light on while your dog is alone at night.

The more you make the dog feel relaxed, the more they are going to want to please you and not urinate in the house. It really is their nature to please their owners, but they can also show you they are upset by breaking the rules.
