I’m not sure how to “send my dog through” the course with me handling from a distance. Any help with training tips?
Also, is there a good site that tells you how to train different agility skills and obstacles? If so I’d love to get the link to it, thanks!
Thanks for trying, but I’m new to agility and haven’t enrolled in any classes.
I’ve taught my dog all of the obstacles and front and rear crosses. I’ve been handling right next to her, but as i’ve watched others compete, they send their dogs through. I was wondering if there was a specific way that you are supposed to teach a dog to be sent through part of the course.

If you win [first, second, or third place] in the AKC Agility Trials, do you win money? I heard you win money, or something.
Also, I live in the Houston area, and I don’t know how to train my dog for it myself, so i was wondering if there are any trainers in the houston area, that help train your dog for that sort of thing, with you.

I just got a small puppy and trying to potty train it to go outside in the yard, but he is tiny!!! How the heck can i tell he did it or not? even he did (on my carpet) is just a tiny bit! I really has no clue if he did it or not on the grass … sorry if this is a stupid question.

We just got an 11 month old lab and due to conditions in Alaska the previous owners were not able to leash train him. Well now he is big and its hard to keep him under control on a leash. What is the best way to teach him to walk on one? Also what is a good way to teach him not to jump? And to let go of the ball when you play catch, he goes and gets it but wont drop it, just runs off and wants you to chase him and play tug of war. Thanks so much for the help!!
