How do I train a dog to do some tricks?

I have a Lab and I know that this breed is super smart and I need to train him. He is a black male lab. About 4 years old. He already knows sit, lay down, and jump. I want to teach him to speak, to roll over, to stay, and to stop pulling on the leash.
Any ideas or suggestions?

What are some good tricks I can train my dog to do?

I have a German Shepherd, 5 years old. She already sits, stays and lies down. What are some fun things I can do with her so she gets exercised either mentally or physically?

how would you train a dog to do tricks?

Prob like sit, laydown, or go to the bathroom where it is supossed to go, or something like that

My dog is 7 years old, mix breed, neutered, male and knows around 50 individual commands and countless command combinations. He’s agressive around strangers(it’s very controlable, but no one outside of the family and our vet can touch him). He’s very proficient in everything he already knows, we communicate very well and we’ve already mastered everything including come and down under distraction but it’s gotten to the point that no matter how I vary the order he anticipates everything and just seems bored. I am too. Do you know of any advanced/mentally challenging things we can work on that don’t involve going to classes or events? Most of the dog books I’ve read just repeat the same old things.

Agility is out as well, he’s got a bit of arthritis in his hips and the vet recommends against it.

Can you train an otter do dog tricks?

They’re supposed to be smart.

This video is a how to video on how to teach your dog to target an object with his front paws. This is not only a great game to teach your puppy or dog how to learn to learn, but it is the foundation for many behaviors and tricks. Tricks with this foundation include- wave, shake , high five, standing up, hands up, close the door, cop cop, say your prayers, descrimination, freestyle foot work and more. Check out zsianz1 ‘s video on how to teach a high five using this technique! www.youtube.com Take care with large breed dogs or dogs who have sharp toe nails as you can get slapped. Perhaps teach shake down the line when you have more experience as a trainer so that your large dog doesnt learn to paw at you as their favorite behavior. The great thing about the technique that I am using is that the dog isnt learning to paw at your skin, but at an object, so you can get that on stimulus control before it is just your arm (for very large and powerful dog breeds). You can also click them fore being gentle before you switch to using just your hand for shake.
