I’m looking for a clicker to train my cats, but all I can find are dog clickers, so would those work for my cats?

Hi there…absolutely! The foundation training principles used for dogs are the very same with cats.
Here’s a helpful website: http://www.clickertraining.com/basics
You can also use the top of a Snapple bottle or any jar top that pops up when you open the jar. They are security buttons that show whether a jar has been opened or not and come on lots of things like tomato sauce bottles
It is more muffled, softer sound than the clicker. The good thing is that most houses have an endless supply and you can keep a bunch around the house.
Yes. The clicker will work. I just use my tongue and make the “shame-shame” sound that for some reason is always written “Tsk, tsk” It works fine for me.
I shouldn’t get the points…just went and watched the video…way cool! If my dog weren’t trained already…I’d sure try this out! Thanks!
